Alpine Landscape Oil Painting Germany 2nd half 19th Century A nice quality oil on canvas by German artist Karl Julius Rose (1828-1911). He must have had a personality problem as he also painted under the names Julius Rose, Georg Carre', d'Antonio Rose and Georges Le Carre'. I suppose this was painted when he couldn't make up his mind and only signed it Rose. The artist is listed in Benizit Price $2,900 Condition Excellent condition. Canvas has been lined.
