uploading American Queen Anne Mahogany Oval Drop Leaf Table
American
Mid 18th Century
An interesting variant of American Mid Atlantic States design on a standard 18th century form. The most unusual feature is the shaping of the feet which resemble a shoe. Also somewhat different is the oval form of the top which is quite a bit wider than the depth. The cut out design of the apron at either end is different from others I have seen. I have found no other known examples of this regional design so I'll just take a guess that it was made in New Jersey.

Price
$4,300

Condition
Very good antique condition. The old surface has been over polished to a pleasing luster. One leaf has been tipped I would estimate at minimum a hundred years ago as the coloration and surface oxidation on the underside is evenly consistent.
