Small Boston Marble Top Pier Table American
Ca. 1825
An unusually small size for a pier table. The black veined "Egyptian" marble top is my favorite for this period. It has bronze capitals and bases for the front columns and a simple plinth for the base. It has a very early possibly original mirror at the back.

Condition
Very good antique condition with the usual dings and small repairs. There is a shrinkage crack on the top of the plinth and at some time somone must have taken off the marble and screwed a wooden top on from the inside of the entablature.
